Role Description
This is a contract-based, on-site Software Engineer role located in Sydney, NSW. As a Software Engineer at Bright OS, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining back-end systems and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and effective solutions that enhance the Bright health platform. Your tasks will involve problem-solving, debugging, writing clean code, and following best practices in software development. You will contribute to delivering a seamless user experience and ensuring the platform's reliability and performance.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and principles of Software Development
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and APIs
- Experience with Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean and maintainable code
- Familiarity with industry best practices for secure and scalable software design
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Strong aptitude for working collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Experience with health tech platforms or a passion for health and wellness is a plus
