- Annual salary is $87,354 + 12% super

About theposition:

The Employer Engagement Specialist connects anddevelops a pipeline of on-going partnerships with employers andother stakeholders to encourage them to list their employmentopportunities with AMES Australia. Employment opportunities wouldneed to be suited to either/or IEA and WA clients to maximise asustainable employment outcome. This position could also developconnections with external agencies/providers such as NDIS, medicalproviders, support agencies and specialist equipmentproviders.

To be considered for this position you will be able todemonstrate the following key selection criteria:

- Minimum Diploma in Commerce, Arts, Business or SocialSciences; AND/OR




- Minimum 3 years’ business development, sales & marketingexperience
- A working knowledge and understanding of employment supportservices, specifically in the disability sector, with refugeeand asylum seeker cohorts, and/or First Nations clients, and acomprehensive understanding of the changes IEA and WA clientsface
- Demonstrated knowledge of labour market trends
- Demonstrated record of success in placement of job seekersinto employment or experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive job seekerassessment, identifying barriers to employment and preparingindividual career or job plans
- Proven ability to motivate clients, and advocate andnegotiate on their behalf
- Proven experience successfully working in and leading asmall cohesive team to achieve team targets/results
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills,with ability to build and maintain rapport with stakeholdersacross different areas of responsibility
- Demonstrated personal integrity and respect forconfidential information
- Excellent time management and organisational skills,self-organised and methodical, with the ability to prioritiseand meet deadlines
- High level of initiative and ability to workindependently
- Flexibility and ability to adapt in a dynamicenvironment
- NDIS Comprehension and familiarity
- Broad understanding in supporting Clients with specificbarriers towards employment outcome




- Understanding of utilities/equipment to support Clients inemployment setting
- Elevated influencing and direct/reverse marketing skills tobroaden employment opportunities for IEA Clients
- A current valid Driver’s Licence will be required for thisrole
- It is a mandatory requirement for the position holder tohave and maintain a current Working With Children Check (foremployment purposes)
