As we continue to expand our digital transformation journey, we are seeking an experienced SAP Supply Chain Functional Consultant to support and optimise our SAP S/4HANA environment across Supply Chain and Logistics operations.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on SAP professional to play a key role in supporting business-critical processes while contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our enterprise SAP landscape.
About the Role
Reporting to the ERP leadership team, the SAP Supply Chain Functional Consultant will be responsible for the ongoing support, configuration, optimisation and continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain modules, primarily focusing on Materials Management (MM), Logistics Execution (LE), Sales & Distribution (SD), and Plant Maintenance (PM).
You will work closely with business stakeholders, AMS partners, and cross-functional SAP teams to ensure systems effectively support procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, maintenance, and operational business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance and continuous improvement for SAP S/4HANA MM, LE and PM modules.
- Analyse business requirements and deliver functional solutions that align with operational objectives.
- Configure and support SAP processes across procurement, inventory, warehouse management, logistics, and maintenance operations.
- Support critical End of Month (EOM) activities, inventory reconciliation processes and tranche sales order management.
- Investigate and resolve system issues, incidents and production support requests.
- Develop functional specifications, configuration documentation, process maps and user training materials.
- Coordinate and execute system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support data migration, cutover planning and release deployments.
- Deliver user training, knowledge transfer and SAP best practice guidance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Support integration across SAP modules including SD, FI/CO, PP, EWM and external platforms.
- Ensure system stability, governance compliance and data integrity across the SAP landscape.
About You
You are a highly collaborative SAP qualified with a strong consulting mindset and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated significant experience delivering SAP S/4HANA solutions across Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics and Maintenance functions, with strong expertise in MM, SD, LE and PM modules.
- Extensive configuration experience in SAP Materials Management (MM).
- Experience supporting supply chain processes including:
- Procurement
- Inventory Management
- Warehouse and logistics integration
- Master Data Management
- Data Migration and Cutover Activities
- Proven experience supporting critical End of Month (EOM) processes.
- Minimum of one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA On-Premises implementation.
- Strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology and Fit-to-Standard deployment approaches.
- Experience working with business stakeholders in client-facing or consulting environments.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- SAP Certification in MM and/or PM.
- Additional certifications in LE, Ariba or related SAP modules.
- Experience working with SAP AMS (Application Management Services) providers.
- Knowledge of SAP Ariba solutions.
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) integrations.
- Understanding of SAP Fiori procurement applications including:
- Manage Purchase Requisitions
- Manage Purchase Orders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
- Relevant SAP certifications highly regarded.
Eligibility Requirements
Due to the nature of our work, applicants must:
- Be an Australian Citizen.
- Be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance at a minimum Baseline level.
