INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT – NORTH GOLD COAST – PUBLIC PRACTICE FIRM – CAREER DEVELOPMENT FOCUS (JOB ID 1763)

Our client is an established Gold Coast accounting firm providing business services and taxation support to a range of small to medium-sized business clients and individuals. The firm delivers services across tax compliance, financial reporting, bookkeeping and general business advisory, supported by a team-based approach and structured internal processes.

The Role:

- Prepare financial statements for companies, trusts, individuals and partnerships

- Prepare income tax returns and assist with compliance obligations

- Assist with BAS, IAS and general accounting work

- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting workpapers

- Respond to client queries in a professional and timely manner

- Assist senior staff with technical and advisory-related tasks

- Support management reporting and general business services work

- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian taxation and accounting standards

About You:

- 2–4 years’ experience in Australian public practice or business services

- Accounting or Commerce qualification

- CA or CPA studies commenced or enrolled





- Understanding of basic Australian tax and compliance requirements

- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or similar

- Strong attention to detail and time management skills

- Clear communication skills and a willingness to learn

- Professional and team-oriented approach
