We’re partnering with a national accounting firm with a strong international network to find an Intermediate Tax & Business Services Accountant for their Central Queensland office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with rural and regional clients while gaining exposure to national and global expertise.
The Role:
- Support managers and partners across a diverse client portfolio, delivering accounting, tax, and advisory services
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS and assist with month-end processes
- Conduct financial analysis and contribute to business advisory projects
- Build strong client relationships with a focus on rural and regional clients
- Travel regionally to meet clients and attend community events
- Collaborate within a high-performing team and the wider national/international network
- Contribute to a positive, supportive office culture
About You:
- 1–3 years’ experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm
- CA or CPA-qualified, or near completion
- Strong interest in the agriculture and rural business sector
- Excellent attention to detail and a client-centric approach
- Collaborative, proactive and eager to learn
