Position Details
Senior Medical Officer in General Practice (with AdvDRANCOG) – temporary position in Northern Queensland, from 07/08/2026 to 31/08/2026.
Salary: AUD 2,900 per month (or $2,900 per day). Shift times: 0745-1715 & 1200-2200.
Accommodation, car and travel provided.
About the Hospital
- Located on the Atherton Tablelands, 63 km west of Cairns, with about 11,825 residents.
- 40‑bed level 3 general hospital, sees 25,000 patients through ED and 200 births per annum; outreach to Dimbulah and Lotus Glen Correctional Centre, and a GP clinic with 6,000 patients per annum.
Requirements
Candidates must be registered with AHPRA and have the Right to Work in Australia.
