This is an exciting chance to develop your accounting skills in a supportive, collaborative and growth-focused environment. As our Graduate Accountant, you’ll gain hands‑on exposure to a broad range of accounting functions, work closely with experienced finance professionals, and play an important role in supporting the financial operations of our dealership.
What your day might look like:
- Processing and reporting on vehicle sales & after-sales revenue
- Performing daily banking and processing bank statements
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts & investigating variances
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements
- Comparing actual financial results against budgets & forecasts, and assisting with variance analysis
- Assisting with year-end audit requirements
- Supporting the budgeting & forecasting process
- Providing day-to-day financial support to the Financial Controller and Dealership Accountant
What we’re looking for:
- A completed or near-completed tertiary qualification in Accounting
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and accounting software
- A desire to commence, or current enrolment in, the CPA or CA program
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to collaborate effectively within a team
