About the role

We are seeking a Qualified Waterproofer to join our team at Bulletproof Waterproofing. This is a full-time position based on-site, where you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional waterproofing solutions to our diverse clientele. As a Qualified Waterproofer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing waterproofing systems across various building projects. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and durability, whilst adhering to all relevant building codes and safety regulations. This role offers the opportunity to work on varied and interesting projects, utilising your technical skills and experience in a dynamic building trades environment.

What you’ll be doing

- Installing waterproofing membranes, coatings, and sealants on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Preparing surfaces through cleaning, repair, and priming to ensure optimal adhesion and performance of waterproofing systems
- Conducting site inspections and assessments to identify moisture intrusion, damage, and waterproofing failures
- Applying specialised waterproofing materials using appropriate techniques such as roll on application, brush application, and membrane installation
- Troubleshooting waterproofing issues and recommending remedial solutions to clients and project managers
- Maintaining detailed records of work completed, materials used,



and time spent on each project
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and site supervisors to ensure coordinated project delivery
- Adhering to all health and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and safe work practices
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition and ensuring adherence to maintenance schedules

What we’re looking for

- Current and relevant waterproofing qualifications or certification recognised in the building trades industry
- Proven experience of at least 3-5 years working as a qualified waterproofer on residential and commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of various waterproofing systems, materials, and application methods
- Proficiency in using waterproofing tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project plans
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different project requirements
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport to access job sites in and around the Camden area
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Current First Aid certification is desirable
- Experience with damp-proofing and moisture management systems is advantageous
