Through strong collaboration with multiple custodial sites, we play a vital role in supporting rehabilitation by building skills,confidenceand meaningful pathways for reintegration into the community.
Learning delivery is adapted to the custodial context, with paper-based delivery and controlled classroom settings. Our educators work directly with individuals, often navigating diverse learning needs. About The Role:

Remuneration:starting at $ 94,772.16 (inclusive of 12% super, pro-rata, dependent on qualifications)
As aTeacherEngineering(Welding), you will deliver practical, engaging training and assessment that supports learners to build job-ready skills across engineering and related trade areas. You will bring your industry knowledge into the classroom and workshop, helping students develop technical capability, confidence, and safe work practices.Your role will include:
Delivering vocational training aligned to engineering standards and safety requirements
Supporting learners to build practical skills and workplace readiness
Adapting resources and assessments for diverse learner needs
Maintainingaccuratetraining and compliance records
Contributing to meaningful vocational education and learner pathways

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Engineering or welding qualifications
Training,
coaching or mentoring experience(beneficial)
Effective communication skills for working in correctional settings
Confidence using basic digital systems
Robust organisation and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
