This 13-week assignment involves providing high-quality patient care in a progressive care setting, with shift hours from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role emphasizes patient safety, clinical assessment, patient and family education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The position requires a dedicated professional committed to safety and exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only); at least 2 years of bedside clinical experience; relevant nursing degree; valid state licensure.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) environment.

Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, documents interventions and patient responses, participates in patient rehabilitation programs,



and manages discharge planning and patient education. Provides direction and supervision to ancillary staff, maintains safety protocols, and contributes to team building efforts. Assumes charge responsibilities following orientation and actively pursues ongoing professional development.
