As a Manager within the firm’s Corporate Bookkeeping division, you are the link between your team, clients and internal stakeholders. You will work closely with Directors and Managers across the firm to ensure the team provides clients with high quality corporate bookkeeping services, guidance and advice.
You are accountable for client outcomes across a portfolio, including quality, timeliness, compliance, team performance and workflow delivery. You will provide exceptional leadership to ensure the smooth running of the Corporate Bookkeeping function and drive client loyalty and retention through exceptional service.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or similar undergraduate degree.
- Professional certification – CA, CPA or equivalent (advantageous).
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role within professional services or industry.
- Demonstrated experience servicing complex client needs and managing a large portfolio of work.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience,
including workflow management and developing team capability.
- Experience reviewing work completed by others (including offshore teams) and driving consistent quality outcomes (advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite (advanced Excel capability preferred for review, analysis and reporting).
- Strong experience using accounting software including Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks (Xero capability essential; MYOB experience advantageous).
- Experience with Management Reporting applications, such as Syft, Spotlight Reporting, Fathom (advantageous).
- Cooperative, commercially minded leader with strong client/stakeholder engagement and communication.
- Proven ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver to time and budget, with an advisory, service-focused approach.
- Detail-oriented, analytical problem-solver who drives continuous improvement and converts business development opportunities.
