MANAGER – TAX & BUSINESS SERVICES – REGIONAL NORTH QUEENSLAND – ESTABLISHED ADVISORY FIRM (JOB ID 1543)

Our client, is a long-established and highly respected integrated accounting and financial services firm with over 70 years of history across North Queensland. With a team of 75+ professionals across multiple offices, the firm offers a full suite of services including accounting, tax, financial planning, SMSF, audit, and business advisory, supporting a diverse client base across the region.

The Role:

- Manage a portfolio of clients across tax, accounting and business advisory

- Deliver high-quality financial statements, tax returns and compliance work

- Provide strategic advice around business performance, structuring and tax planning

- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships

- Work closely with Partners on complex client matters and business strategy

- Lead, mentor, and develop a small high-performing team

- Oversee workflow, ensuring deadlines and lodgement requirements are met

About You:

- Degree qualified in Accounting or related discipline

- CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent postgraduate qualification)

- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in public practice / business services





- Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards

- Experience managing client portfolios and delivering advisory services

- Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop team members

- Solid communication, organisational and problem-solving skills

- Proficient with Xero, XPM, Microsoft Office and ATO Portal
