We are seeking someone with a valuable eye for detail and mechanically minded assembling brake pads and motorised products. Part of this role would be picking orders for delivery as well. This is best suited to someone that has previous experience in the industry.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience assembling mechanical components, ideally brake systems and/or gearboxes
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and follow torque specs
- Solid understanding of tolerances, fasteners, and mechanical fitment
- Experience with order picking, barcoding, and basic inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management
- Physically fit to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods
- Reliable, safety-focused, and a team player
Skills:
- Assemble brake pads and gearboxes using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and SOPs
- Troubleshoot basic assembly issues and escalate when needed
- Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately; update inventory systems
- Maintain a clean, safe workstation and follow H&S; procedures
