Your New Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Advice Relationships team in NSW, playing a key role in driving growth through strong, trusted relationships with financial advisers and licensees.

n this role, you’ll proactively build, nurture and grow adviser and licensee relationships to support Aware Super’s growth and retention objectives. You’ll manage an active pipeline, deliver insight‑led selling, and represent Aware Super as a trusted partner in the independent financial adviser (IFA) market.

Your New Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Advice Relationships team in NSW, playing a key role in driving growth through strong, trusted relationships with financial advisers and licensees.
I
n this role, you’ll proactively build, nurture and grow adviser and licensee relationships to support Aware Super’s growth and retention objectives. You’ll manage an active pipeline, deliver insight‑led selling, and represent Aware Super as a trusted partner in the independent financial adviser (IFA) market.
Some responsibilities will include:
To build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective advisers and licensees
Develop and convert adviser pipelines to drive new members, FUM and engagement
Lead proactive business development and lead generation activities (including outbound calls, events and conferences)
Provide market and regulatory insights to shape Aware Super’s adviser proposition
Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to strengthen our position
Contribute to projects and initiatives that enhance the adviser experience
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

Demonstrated experience and networks within the financial advice market
Strong understanding of superannuation products, legislation and the financial advice regulatory setting
Proven success in adviser or licensee engagement, business development or account management roles
Commercial acumen with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities
Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills
A proactive, self‑driven approach with strong planning and prioritisation skills
RG146 (Superannuation) and a current driver licence
You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face.
You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
