About Our Client

Our client is a global business undergoing significant transformation across its operations. As part of this journey, they in the process of maturing their support and shared services centre. We are looking for an Interim Finance Transformation Manager for a 12–18-month engagement based in Sydney, with Brisbane and Melbourne also considered.

The Role

This role will support finance enablement projects, maintain delivery governance and act as a practical conduit between Finance stakeholders, shared services teams and external, spanning the end to end finance scope.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive end-to-end Finance transition coordination, including plans, milestones, readiness activities, risks and dependencies.
- Support the integration of Finance services and controls into a global shared services operating model.
- Coordinate Finance enablement projects spanning automation, ERP improvements, reporting enhancements and control standardisation.
- Maintain service delivery routines and performance reporting.
- Manage relationships and operational follow-up with vendors.
- Partner with Finance leaders, regional teams, shared services and provider stakeholders to drive agreed outcomes.




- Maintain transition documentation, action logs, issue registers and readiness checklists.

What You'll Bring

- Experience and background as a finance professional, with a thorough understanding of operationally efficient finance structures
- Experience in finance shared services, finance transition management or BPO-enabled finance operating models.
- Hands-on experience coordinating Finance transitions, service integration and operational improvement across end-to-end Finance processes.
- Practical understanding of Finance processes, financial controls, reconciliations, reporting and close management.
- Experience managing outsourced finance service providers, including service reviews, performance reporting, control follow-up and issue resolution.
- Structured, delivery-focused and able to coordinate effectively across business, shared services and provider stakeholders in a complex, globally distributed workplace.

This role is for a 12-18 month period. To be eligible, you must have full Australian work rights without restrictions for the duration of the contract.
