EL1 Specialist Advisor, Employment Suitability and Workforce Integrity
We are seeking an experienced Personnel Security & Workforce Suitability Specialist to join a Federal Government agency on a temporary contract through to December 2026.
Daily Rate: $602.55 per day + super
You will lead and support initiatives that strengthen workforce suitability, personnel security and integrity across the employee lifecycle. This role requires expertise in risk-based suitability assessments, governance, policy development and stakeholder engagement within a complex government environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement workforce suitability and personnel security frameworks.
- Conduct complex suitability assessments and provide expert risk-based advice.
- Strengthen pre-employment screening and ongoing workforce monitoring processes.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures and governance documentation.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support workforce integrity and personnel security initiatives.
- Prepare high-quality briefings, reports and recommendations for senior leaders.
- Lead continuous improvement activities and provide guidance on personnel security best practice.

You will have:
- Significant experience in personnel security, suitability assessments, vetting or workforce integrity.
- Experience applying Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) principles across the employment lifecycle.
- Robust analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to assess complex and sensitive information.
- Experience developing policies, frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, written communication and governance skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
