Optometrist

Job Responsibilities:

- Conduct eye examinations to assess vision and identify any underlying conditions.

- Prescribe and fit eyeglasses or contact lenses based on patients' visual needs.

- Provide advice on proper eye care and recommend treatment plans for vision problems.

- Detect and diagnose eye diseases, such as glaucoma or cataracts, and refer patients to specialists when needed.

- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure accurate documentation of eye exam results.

- Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and technologies.

Essential Qualifications:

- Recent full-time experience in this line of work. (presently employed)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Desired Experience:

- Previous experience working as an Optometrist for up to 5 years.

Salary & Benefits:

- Salary: $74,000 - $98,000 annually.

Note: Other clients with workplaces in regional Australia potentially available.

Visa:

- Sponsored working visa class 482

- 2 year visa, extendable.





- Optometrist 251411 MLTSSL

Future Benefits:

English level needed:

- An IELTS score of 6,6,6,6 + or equivalent in PTE, OET.

Certificates needed:

- An OCANZ certificate.

- From The Optometry Council of Australia and Recent Zealand (OCANZ)

Future requirements:

- After a pre-screening interview, If we are interested in connecting you to a client for a work-place interview, then we would first need:

- Proof of Employment.

- Passport copy, Showing 1 year + validity

- Police clearance

Financial requirements:

- There ​​​​​​​is NO show-money needed to be seen by immigration when applying for a working visa to Australia.

Personal requirements:

- Happy, confident, outgoing.
