Parkerville Children and Youth Care

Australia

Parkerville Children and Youth Care is entering an exciting period of service growth and operational mobilisation. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role sits at the intersection of service delivery, property, technology, infrastructure and strategic initiatives. You’ll translate operational, technical, partner and executive requirements into coordinated, practical plans that turn ideas into services ready to operate from day one. This is not a traditional project management role. It’s an integrator role. You’ll bring specialist teams and stakeholders together, provide clear direction, challenge where needed and support informed executive decision-making. You’ll need to be comfortable navigating ambiguity, balancing competing priorities and confidently recommending trade-offs – or saying “no” – when cost, scope, timing, compliance or risk require it. Working closely with Executive Leadership, Property, ICT, service delivery leaders and external partners, you’ll help ensure new services are protected, efficient, sustainable and ready to deliver from day one. Key Responsibilities: Lead and project manage the mobilisation and setup of facilities, infrastructure, and operating environments for new and changing services. Translate service objectives, partner requirements, and operational needs into clear implementation plans. Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across property, ICT, service delivery, governance, legal and external partners. Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring scope, timing, budget, quality,

and service-readiness requirements are clearly understood and delivered. Identify and coordinate required legal, contractual, local government, council, WHS and compliance approvals before works commence. Prepare clear recommendations that consider service requirements, budget impacts, risk, compliance obligations, and operational outcomes. Ensure mobilisation planning reflects Parkerville’s brand requirements, trauma-informed design principles and the needs of children, young people, families, staff and partners. Selection Criteria: Relevant tertiary qualification in project management, business, property, construction, engineering, operations management, organisational development, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience coordinating complex, multi-disciplinary projects, mobilisation activities, operational readiness programs or infrastructure initiatives. Experience coordinating diverse stakeholders including operational teams, specialist professionals, contractors, partner organisations and senior leaders. Strong strategic thinking combined with practical implementation capability. Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Australian citizen or permanent resident So, what’s in it for you? Above-award salary, generous packaging, flexible working, and a cause worth getting out of bed for. Applications close Monday 31st August – we’re reviewing as they arrive. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and strongly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply. All appointments are subject to relevant screening checks.
