· 5+ years experience as a SAS Platform Administrator supporting enterprise SAS 9.x environments (preferably SAS 9.4).
· In-depth understanding of multi-tier SAS architecture including metadata, application, web, and compute servers.
· Solid expertise with SAS Management Console and metadata administration.
· Good Linux / RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration skills.
· Detailed knowledge of SAS platform security, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and storage management.
· Experience implementing monitoring solutions to meet platform SLAs.
· Understanding of data centre infrastructure including storage, virtualisation, and networking.
· Familiarity with Base SAS and Macro programming.
· Proficiency with Linux shell scripting.
· Experience integrating SAS with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Hadoop, Redshift, or SPDS.
· Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
