Co-Conspirators are an independent brewery with a popular home in Brunswick. They're looking for a new bar team leader to join their front-of-hous crew.

Job Description: Bar Team Leader (Part-Time)

Co-Conspirators Brewpub – Brunswick, VIC

Co-Conspirators Brewpub is seeking an experienced Bar Team Leader to lead our front-of-house operation in a hands-on leadership role that offers far more than venue management. Working alongside the Director of Operations, you'll have the opportunity to shape the guest experience, mentor a passionate team and gain valuable exposure to brewery production, events and the inner workings of an award-winning independent brewery.

The Bar Team Leader role is primarily rostered Thursday to Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday off, and offers a minimum of 25 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position through brewery operations, events and seasonal projects.

The successful applicant will commence from 1 September 2026, with training alongside the Director of Operations and Director of Brewing. This structured onboarding will provide the time and support to learn our systems, brewery operations and venue procedures, ensuring you're set up for long-term success from day one.

About the Role

As Bar Team Leader, you'll oversee the day-to-day operation of the brewpub, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while maintaining stock control, venue presentation and team performance. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you'll play an important role in the continued growth of the venue.





This position also includes working alongside the brewing team to assist with packaging, keg washing, and brewery production, as well as representing Co-Conspirators at festivals and external events.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and support our front-of-house team
- Coordinate the day-to-day operation of the brewpub
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high venue standards
- Stock control and management
- Maintain POS system data, pricing, product listings and QR code menus
- Communicate stock availability and product updates to the venue team
- Assist with internal and external event preparation and execution
- Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness and organisation
- Assist with brewery packaging, keg washing and general brewery operations when required
- Represent Co-Conspirators at beer festivals, events and promotional activities

About You

- Previous experience in a Bar Manager, Venue Supervisor or hospitality management role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent team player
- Experience with stock control, ordering and inventory management
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Passion for craft beer, hospitality and customer service
- A genuine interest in learning brewery operations
- Flexible and willing to work across both hospitality and brewery operations




- Current RSA Certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Minimum four years' hospitality experience
- Availability to work Thursday through Monday, including weekends
- Previous experience in a craft beer venue, brewery or brewpub
- Experience using POS and inventory management systems
- First Aid Certificate
