Just Careers Training t/as Licences 4 Work is seeking a high-energy and results-focused Business Development Manager to join our Sydney team. This role will focus on promoting and selling accredited training solutions to businesses across manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, construction and other blue-collar industries.

About the Role

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities across Bankstown and surrounding areas.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Identifying and winning new business across key industries including logistics, warehousing, construction, manufacturing and related sectors
- Building relationships with key decision-makers including HR, HSEQ, Training Managers, Supervisors and Directors
- Presenting and selling accredited training solutions that support safety, compliance and workforce capability
- Conducting regular field-based activity, including client visits, site meetings, outbound calls and prospecting
- Responding to inbound leads promptly and converting opportunities into meetings and revenue
- Working with Training Operations to ensure courses are scheduled in line with resource availability and compliance requirements
- Maintaining accurate CRM records, pipeline updates and sales activity reporting
- Meeting agreed sales targets and business development activity expectations

Training Solutions You’ll Represent

You will represent a broad range of nationally recognised training programs, including:

- High-risk licences, including Dogging, Rigging and Scaffolding
- Safety training,



including Working at Heights, Confined Space and Chain of Responsibility
- Forklift, EWP, First Aid and VOCs
- A wide range of nationally recognised units and workplace training programs

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within training, safety, labour hire, logistics, construction or similar industries
- Strong business development and new client acquisition skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation and closing ability
- Confidence engaging with decision-makers at different levels
- A self-motivated and resilient approach in a target-driven environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own pipeline
- Experience using a CRM system
- RTO or VET sector experience, which is preferred but not essential

The Ideal Candidate

This role is suited to someone who enjoys being out in the field, meeting clients, identifying opportunities and converting leads into long-term business relationships.

You will be comfortable with outbound prospecting, client visits, inbound lead follow-up and maintaining consistent sales activity.
