This iconic Australian brand has stayed true to its original vision: sophisticated femininity, a passion for detail and a love of colour and print. Sisters Nicky and Simone ZIMMERMANN founded their namesake brand in Sydney in 1991.

Early in its evolution, ZIMMERMANN took the bold step of fusing fashion with swimwear and presented it to the world. It immediately found its following with the fashion elite, creating a current point of reference in flattering, feminine and stylish swimwear. While the swimsuit thrust ZIMMERMANN on to the international stage, it has been its optimistic, feminine and consistently desirable collections across its ready-to-wear and resort that have propelled it to greater global appeal.

While based at home in Sydney, ZIMMERMANN present their ready-to-wear collections each season at New York Fashion Week. They maintain showrooms in Sydney, London, Paris, Recent York and Los Angeles. Working with the highly acclaimed designer and long-time collaborator, Don McQualter, ZIMMERMANN maintains a number of stand-alone stores across Australia, Europe and the USA including flagship stores on Madison Ave in New York and Melrose Place in Los Angeles.

Position Purpose

An exciting opportunity exists for a Concession Manager to join our David Jones Chatswood team upon it's exciting re-opening! The Concession Manager will lead a team of passionate brand ambassadors whilst embodying the Zimmermann brand: bringing optimism, creativity, and sophistication in everything they do. Inspire the team by leading by example to create a collaborative and motivating environment that fosters a shared brand vision.

Role Responsibilities

- To consistently provide strong leadership, lead by example and present as a role model for all team members.
- Maximize sales by striving to be the best at providing excellence in Client Service, Visual Presentation and creating a memorable brand experience.
- To ensure that all team members achieve a superior standard of excellence in client service, brand knowledge and product knowledge.
- Promote an enjoyable and collaborative working environment which promotes passion, focus and discipline.
- Drive the recruitment process in line with Zimmermann’s Diversity and inclusion vision.




- To successfully lead and develop a high performing team that achieves individual and team sales results, builds strong team morale and a positive workplace attitude.
- To ensure that a consistent high standard of Visual Presentation is achieved and reflective of the brand directive.
- Oversee store operations including stockroom management and leading the Stock Coordinators through the stocktake in accordance with Zimmermann policy and procedure.
- To promote and always uphold the non-negotiable standards of the work health and safety policies and procedures.
- To ensure that administration is carried out accurately and efficiently in line with Zimmermann Policy and Procedures

About You

- Proven experience in a similar leadership role.
- Excellent organisation skills and high attention to detail.
- Passion for the brand and Fashion retail industry
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong, genuine relationships with team members and clientele.
- Desire for a long-term and fulfilling career journey
