Overview

Our client is a highly innovative specialist in large-scale solar and long-duration energy storage projects. As the organisation expands its global footprint, it is seeking an Origination Manager to identify and progress new project opportunities across Australia and international markets, including South America, the Southern region of Africa, and the Middle East.

Based in Melbourne, the Origination Manager will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and a team-oriented, cross-functional team, as well as spending time in-market engaging with partners and progressing opportunities on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and nurture high-quality leads for company-led projects in key markets.
- Build strategic partnerships across the energy and infrastructure ecosystem.
- Guide project opportunities from concept to development, ensuring alignment with delivery partners.
- Monitor policy, regulatory, and market shifts, contributing to the organisation’s strategic positioning.
- Support senior leadership with business development initiatives and commercial strategy.
- Represent the company at events, forums, and meetings in Australia and internationally.

Qualifications





Candidates may come from a range of industries, including energy, climate tech, infrastructure, or related sectors. The most critical attributes are the ability to build relationships, connect the dots, and see a project through from inception to execution.
