Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering concept and feasibility studies, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards

Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop integrated technical solutions that meet customer requirements, APA standards, and investment gate expectations

Drive study governance and gate readiness, ensuring all technical deliverables, assumptions, risks, and recommendations are thoroughly documented and approved

Act as the primary technical interface between Engineering, Estimating, Bid Management, and key stakeholders to support commercial decision‑making and project development activities

Oversee the identification, assessment, and management of technical, safety, environmental, and constructability risks throughout the study lifecycle

Lead the technical handover process to delivery teams, ensuring design intent, risks, assumptions, requirements, and key decisions are effectively communicated and transitioned

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience leading complex engineering concept, feasibility, or front‑end studies within infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, utilities, resources, or related industries
- Strong technical leadership capabilities with the ability to manage and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams across multiple workstreams and stakeholders and integrating technical artifacts into cohesive study outcomes
- Proven ability to develop technical solutions, evaluate design options,



and provide recommendations that balance technical, commercial, operational, and risk considerations
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience collaborating across engineering, operations, project development, commercial, regulatory, and customer groups
- Sound understanding of project development processes, investment gate frameworks, risk management methodologies, and engineering governance requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline, with professional engineering accreditation and project/study management experience highly regarded
