CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR | HEALTH INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT | MELBOURNE CBD

The Opportunity

Our client is a well established national contractor with a reputation for delivering complex, high value projects across a range of sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong forward workload, they are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join the team on a complex health infrastructure project in Melbourne's CBD.

Key Responsibilities

- Management of trade and subcontract packages from procurement through to final account
- Preparation and administration of subcontract agreements
- Assessment and processing of progress claims and variations
- Cost forecasting, reporting and budget control
- Management of procurement schedules and tender processes




- Supporting project delivery teams to achieve commercial and programme objectives
- Building strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and client representatives

About You

- 5+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction
- Experience working within a structured Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor environment
- Proven experience managing trade packages on projects valued at $50m+
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of construction contracts
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Ambitious, proactive and looking to build a long term career with a leading contractor
