Pinnacle Places is a boutique development management consultancy delivering master-planned residential communities, retail, housing and mixed-use projects across NSW and Victoria. Acting as development manager on behalf of private landowners and investment partners, Pinnacle Places manages projects end-to-end, from early planning and design through to construction, sales and ongoing estate management.

Their current focus is a large-scale master-planned residential community in Western Sydney, being delivered in stages over a multi-year program. With a small, highly motivated team, Pinnacle Places offers the opportunity to take on real responsibility, work closely with decision-makers and gain genuine exposure across the development lifecycle.

They are now seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Development Manager to join their team.

About the Role

Working closely with the Development team, you will support the delivery of residential development projects across planning and approvals, design, tendering, construction, sales and marketing, financial reporting and ongoing estate management.

You will coordinate consultants and contractors, maintain project documentation and reporting, support authority engagement and assist with the ongoing presentation of the estate. This is a hands-on role offering broad exposure and the prospect to develop your property career within a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinating project teams, consultants and contractors to support project delivery.

- Assisting with Development Applications and authority approvals, including preparing documentation, tracking milestones and monitoring approval conditions.

- Supporting design development and tender processes, including consultant documentation and tender packages.

- Assisting during construction by maintaining project registers, tracking progress and identifying emerging risks, delays or compliance issues.

- Building strong relationships with consultants,



contractors, authorities and other external stakeholders.

- Supporting accurate and timely project, cost and progress reporting.

- Processing consultant and contractor invoices and maintaining up-to-date cost and budget tracking.

- Maintaining accurate project records, documentation and electronic filing.

- Assisting with sales and marketing coordination, project collateral, communications and on-site marketing activities.

- Supporting the ongoing presentation and maintenance of the estate, including coordination with relevant contractors.

- Monitoring project requirements and escalating risks or issues to the Development Manager as required.

About You

To excel in this role, you'll need:

- Recent tertiary qualifications in a property-related discipline, ideally supplemented by some relevant industry experience.

- An understanding of the property development process and an interest in building your career in development.

- Proficiency in tools like Excel, MS Project and Estatemaster.

- Strong relationship-building and written and verbal communication skills.

- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management.

- The ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines.

- A proactive approach, strong initiative and willingness to learn.

- The ability to adapt quickly and take on responsibility across different areas of a project.

- A collaborative approach with the confidence to work independently when required.

- Strong personal drive, motivation and work ethic.
