We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse with experience working in wards to join our clinical team on a part time basis with a minimum 64 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday flexible roster, no weekends, public holidays or overnight shifts.
Duties and responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes. Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift About You:
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare.
You will have: Solid experience in a comparable role (theatre / perioperative setting preferred)
Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or similar
Experience in wards preferred
Current AHPRA registration A background in private day hospitals preferred Culture and Benefits:
