Role Outline:

- Relationships
- Actioning guest requests promptly
- Ensuring security and care of guest belongings and hotel property Quality & Standards
- Completing allocated rooms within the allocated time
- Replenishing and controlling guest supplies and amenities including bathroom amenities, mini bar, towels and linen
- Preparing each room to the required standard
- Rotating and replacing room items in accordance with set requirements such as mattress protectors, bedspreads, and pillows
- Reporting missing items from guest rooms e.g kettle, cups, glasses, irons, hangers • Presenting guest rooms as per Hotel standard
- Providing buddy training when directed by the manager/supervisor
- Following company policies and procedure manuals
- Reporting maintenance required in rooms

Safety

- Maintain secure and hygienic work practices
- Report any hazards, accidents/incidents or related matters to Housekeeping Supervisor




- To participate in consultation / communication regarding OH&S; issues and provide feedback

General

- Attending all training as required by the Hotel
- Adhering to Hotel direction and following all Hotel policies and procedures
- Declaring all lost property and following lost property procedures
- Attending morning briefings and periodic Housekeeping meetings
- Reading and actioning daily worksheet
- Recording room status; do not disturb rooms, room moves and room changes
- Maintaining all equipment such as trolleys, vacuums, and chemical bottles
- Attending work punctually
- Notifying Manager of any required changes to roster with a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice
- Following Hotel fire and safety procedures • Maintaining the required standard of personal cleanliness, appearance and conduct as determined by the Hotel
- Performing other duties as directed by the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor
