AC Industria Pty Ltd We are offering a full-time position for an experienced Accountant with demonstrated skills in accounts management, financial and tax reporting, budgeting, planning, forecasting and the preparation of related reports and statements.

Task & responsibilities

The position will suit a candidate who is experienced in working in an environment that requires a high attention to detail and who is skilled in communicating with stakeholders.

The key duties include:

Overseeing the delivery, execution, and monitoring of budgets. Creating financial statements that will be presented to shareholders, management and other statutory and governing bodies. Ensuring that all monthly balance sheet asset and liability balances are supported by proper reconciliations.

Providing advice on issues including income, sales and expenditure. Generating insightful financial reports to management to support decision-making. Generating monthly financial reports and conducting analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimisation.

Conducting monthly reviews and comparing actual results to budgeted figures. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and their compliance with statutory requirements including payroll tax, superannuation, PAYG and GST.



Collaborating with external accountants to prepare financial statements and tax returns.

Implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Identifying, selecting and implementing accounting solutions that relate to the management of accounts. Maintaining the use of introduced accounting solutions.

Creating and updating policies and procedures relating to the management of budgets and accounts.

Qualification & experience

Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance or in a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of accounting experience. Experience in accounts management, financial and tax reporting, budgeting, planning, forecasting and the preparation of related reports and statements. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
