About The Role
As our Float Educator, you'll work across all age groups, supporting children and educators while delivering a high-quality, inclusive program. Enjoy variety in your day, develop your skills, and be part of a supportive team at our centre, just a 10-minute walk from Redfern Railway Station.
This will include: Build nurturing, positive relationships with children and support their emotional wellbeing
Guide positive behaviour and encourage children’s independence and decision-making
Create engaging, inclusive environments that support all areas of development
Support daily routines, including meals, toileting, and responding to individual needs
Assist with observing, documenting, and supporting children’s learning and healthy habits About You:
You will have experience and skills in the following: A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Standards Working with Children Check and current Senior First Aid qualification
Sound understanding of the development of children, their health, hygiene and nutritional needs Child protection training and commitment to child safety

Our Redfern Centre is a 60-place early childhood education and child care centre located in the heart of Redfern, conveniently close to shops and public transport. Our indoor and large outdoor play spaces have been designed to facilitate learning through play.
