SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – BUSINESS ADVISORY – ROCKHAMPTON / HYBRID – ADVISORY, FORECASTING & GOVERNANCE FOCUS – CA FIRM (JOB ID 1750)

Our client is a well-established mid-market advisory and accounting firm with a strong national and international network. This role sits within a growing advisory team and offers the opportunity to work directly with clients on business performance, governance, forecasting and strategic planning initiatives, while continuing to build your technical accounting expertise.

The Role:

- Prepare and review management reports, financial statements and business performance reporting

- Deliver budgeting, cash flow forecasting and financial modelling engagements

- Provide commercial advisory services to support business growth and operational performance

- Build trusted relationships with clients and become a key point of contact

- Assist clients with governance, board reporting and strategic decision-making

- Manage annual compliance and financial reporting obligations

- Liaise with business owners, directors, auditors, lawyers, regulators and external stakeholders

- Work closely with senior leadership on complex advisory engagements

About You:

- 3+ years' experience within Business Services or Business Advisory

- CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion)





- Solid experience preparing financial statements and management reports

- Exposure to forecasting, budgeting or advisory work highly regarded

- Strong commercial acumen and ability to interpret financial information

- Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills

- Proactive, organised and motivated to broaden your advisory expertise

- Interested in moving beyond compliance into more strategic client work
