This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join their Coolangatta office, managing a diverse portfolio of SME and individual clients while providing strategic support, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

The Role:

- Manage end-to-end accounting and compliance for a portfolio of SME and individual clients

- Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, FBT, payroll tax and related compliance obligations

- Conduct tax planning and provide advice on business structures

- Build and maintain strong client relationships with a proactive, value-add approach

- Monitor workflow, manage WIP and contribute to personal and team KPI outcomes

- Identify process improvements and workflow efficiencies

- Mentor junior staff and support team capability development

- Maintain strong technical knowledge across Div 7A, FBT, GST and broader tax legislation





- Work with modern systems including Xero Practice Manager, FYI Docs, and Dashboard Insights

About You:

- CA or CPA qualified

- 5+ years’ experience in Australian public practice accounting

- Strong technical tax, compliance and advisory capability

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

- Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms and modern practice systems

- Commercially minded with strong workflow and client management capability

- Positive, proactive and team-focused attitude
