SENIOR SMSF & TAX ACCOUNTANT – SOUTHERN SYDNEY – 4 PARTNER CHARTERED ACCOUNTING FIRM (JOB ID 951)

This is a stable, well-structured practice known for its professional yet approachable culture, where senior accountants are trusted with autonomy, meaningful client work and direct access to Partners in day-to-day decision making.

The Role:

- Prepare SMSF financial statements and tax returns

- Manage complex business and individual tax matters

- Complete BAS, compliance work and advisory support

- Review work prepared by junior accountants

- Liaise with auditors, advisers and external stakeholders

- Manage client relationships independently

- Work closely with Partners on workflow and technical matters

- Contribute to process improvement and team development

About You:

- 5+ years’ experience in Australian public practice

- Strong hands-on SMSF compliance experience essential

- Solid background in tax and business services

- CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)





- Confident managing clients independently

- Strong technical and communication skills

- Stable career history with a long-term mindset
