Senior Associate – Dispute Resolution & Litigation

Sydney | Full-time

Our client’s high performing Dispute Resolution & Litigation team in Sydney is expanding and is seeking a driven Senior Associate with robust commercial litigation experience to join their practice.

The Role

This position focuses on general commercial disputes, with an emphasis on complex corporate and contractual matters, regulatory investigations and high value family trust disputes. You will work on sophisticated, challenging matters in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, alongside experienced partners and senior litigators.

Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a range of litigation and dispute matters
- Draft pleadings, affidavits, submissions and client advice
- Manage and assist with file preparation and progression
- Conduct legal research and prepare supporting documentation
- Oversee discovery, including document collection, review and organisation
- Attend court hearings,



mediations and other dispute resolution processes

About You

- 5+ years’ post admission experience in commercial litigation
- Impressive academic transcript
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Excellent drafting ability, particularly for court documents and affidavits
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Detail oriented with a commitment to delivering high quality client outcomes
- A collaborative team player with a proactive, “can do” approach
