We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer / AWS DevOps for a leading IT consulting client in Sydney.

This role will play a critical role in supporting the Cloud practice development and will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex cloud-based solutions for our clients, including leading banks, ASX-listed companies, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS technologies.

- Provide expertise in DevOps methodologies and best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation.

- Participate in the design and development of cloud-based solutions, working closely with other teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements and business objectives.

- Manage, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that cloud solutions are designed with security, reliability, and scalability in mind.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud technology.

Requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.





- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering and DevOps, with a strong focus on AWS.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, and CloudFormation.

- Strong knowledge of automation and scripting languages, such as Python and Terraform.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration and delivery.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on delivering results.
