As a Senior Construction Underwriter you’ll be growing a profitable portfolio on our digital platform using your technical underwriting skills.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Construction Underwriting Manager you will be responsible for profitably growing our construction product through:

Account Underwriting

- Underwriting more complex accounts, leveraging our system which automates all simple accounts and administration
- Annual and Single Project, MD and Liability for SME and Mid-Market
- Close analysis of risk and exposures on individual accounts
- Liaise with brokers to position successful quotes

Business Development
- Working with the Underwriting Manager and our BD team to grow and develop our substantial broker base
- Cross sell against our extensive broker relationships in other products
- Data-driven BD strategy, leveraging our digital marketing tools
- Presenting our product and system to brokers

Qualifications & Experience

You have 5 plus years’ experience in Construction Underwriting.
