We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Development Manager to join our Adelaide team. Reporting to the State Manager, this role will oversee the delivery of Cedar Woods’ South Australian development portfolio and play a key role in driving successful outcomes across built form and land development projects.

As a senior leader within the South Australian business, you will be responsible for managing projects from early planning through to delivery, ensuring strong commercial, design and program outcomes, while working closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors and external stakeholders to maximise value.

The Role In this role, your key responsibilities will include: Taking accountability for the delivery of development projects in line with Cedar Woods’ corporate objectives

Ensuring projects are delivered to agreed financial targets, design standards and program milestones

Leading and mentoring development team members, supporting capability development and performance

Preparing and maintaining accurate project budgets, feasibilities and financial reporting

Managing planning, approvals, consultants, contractors and authority relationships across projects

Managing internal and external stakeholders to optimise commercial, design and delivery outcomes

Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities across the development lifecycle

Contributing to continuous improvement in development governance, systems and delivery practices About You





As a senior member of our South Australian leadership team, you will bring: Tertiary qualifications in property, construction, project management, engineering, town planning or a related discipline

Significant experience delivering residential development projects, with exposure to built form and/or complex developments

Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and stages concurrently from planning through to completion

Robust commercial acumen, with experience managing feasibilities, budgets and financial performance

Proven ability to manage consultants, contractors and authority approvals processes

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
