Fantastic Opportunity - Great Company! Our client is a steel processing & supply company that provides services including laser, plasma & oxy cutting, folding, rolling, and fabrication and they are seeking to appoint a Senior Estimator for their facility in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Answering customer inquiries and customer pricing information via phone or email in a timely manner
- Understand and interpret customer requirements; including drawings, written specs and resolving customer problems when required.
- Prepare estimates and quotations using computerised quotation spreadsheets and Pulse ERP Software
- Working closely and communicating with all the internal team members to ensure a smooth process and execution of all jobs
- Job costing and invoicing, including estimating margins, labour requirements/costs and delivery costs

Qualifications & Experience Required:





- Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent (Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural, or Mechanical)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering/construction/structural drawings
- Extensive experience in production planning, estimating and Sigmanest
- Knowledge of steel industry is highly regarded
- Knowledge of M1 (ERP system) will be highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills/relationship builder with internal and external stakeholders
- Meticulous eye for detail
