SENIOR EXTERNAL AUDITOR - BENDIGO – LEADING REGIONAL ACCOUNTING FIRM (JOB ID 1523)

You’ll work closely with an experienced Audit & Assurance team, gaining exposure to a variety of clients while continuing to build your leadership capability.
The Role:
- Lead and deliver external audit engagements in line with Australian Auditing Standards
- Focus on higher-risk areas, financial analysis and internal controls
- Prepare and review audit documentation and reports
- Communicate findings clearly with clients and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement across audit processes
- Mentor and develop junior team members
About You:
- 3+ years’ experience in Australian public practice audit or accounting
- Strong financial reporting and external audit experience
- CA/CPA qualified (or currently working towards)
- Solid understanding of Australian Auditing Standards
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
- A cooperative mindset with an interest in mentoring
