About the role:

- Leasing disputes, predominantly acting for tenants, with some landlord-side matters.
- Franchising disputes, acting for franchisors.
- Contract disputes and broader commercial claims.
- Debt recovery matters, from early demands through to resolution.
- Strategic advice on risk, resolution and commercial outcomes.
- Drafting correspondence, court documents, briefs and settlement materials.
- Day-to-day carriage of files and direct client contact.

The ideal candidate:

- Ideally 5+ years’ PQE in commercial litigation.




- Experience in leasing, franchising, contract disputes and/or debt recovery.
- Confident taking carriage of files, managing clients and working to competing deadlines.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- Practical, commercial and solutions-focused in your approach.
- Down-to-earth, personable and comfortable working in a boutique firm environment.
