Position Overview

The Role in One Line

You look after your crew. The Project Manager looks after you.

You’ll run a crew of 2 to 4 on residential and commercial internal linings jobs: plastering,



ceilings & partitions and insulation. From the moment the Project Manager hands you the plan, the site is yours. Set the day's work, hold the quality, keep the job tracking on its hours.

This is hands-on leadership. You're on the tools with the crew, not carrying a clipboard.

And you get real authority with clear guardrails. Without asking anyone, you:

- Set the crew's daily sequence and allocate the work
- Fix quality issues on the spot
- Coordinate day-to-day with site supervisors
- Stop unsafe work, no questions asked
- Hold the crew to the standard

What We’re Looking For

- Solid hands-on experience in internal linings: plastering, ceilings & partitions and/or insulation
- You've led or supervised a small crew on site, formally or as the one everyone already answered to
- Can read plans and set out work accurately from a scope and drawings
- Confident dealing directly with site supervisors, builders and other trades
- Sound working knowledge of site safety obligations
- Comfortable with job management software (we run AroFlo), or the willingness to learn it fast
- Valid driver's licence and a reliable, fit-for-purpose vehicle
- Organised and reliable: turns up on time, holds the standard, doesn't walk past poor work
- Reside within 12km of Brisbane CBD (applications outside this area will be considered).
