An established and growing financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Contractor to provide immediate support across its risk, compliance and financial crime functions.
This is a hands-on contract opportunity suited to a practical and commercially minded compliance professional who can quickly add value in a fast-paced environment.
Key Focus Areas
- Onboarding investors in accordance with AML/CTF requirements and internal AML programs
- Customer due diligence, KYC and financial crime obligations
- Reviewing marketing and promotional materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and avoid misleading or deceptive statements
- Supporting compliance monitoring and obligations management activities
- Providing practical compliance advice to business stakeholders
- Assisting with regulatory and governance initiatives
- Supporting risk assessments, compliance frameworks and reporting activities
- Contributing to ongoing enhancement of financial crime, risk and compliance controls
About You
- 5+ years' experience in Risk, Compliance, Financial Crime or Governance within financial services
- Strong knowledge of AML/CTF obligations and investor onboarding processes
- Experience reviewing marketing collateral, client communications and promotional materials
- Understanding of AFSL obligations and broader regulatory requirements
- Experience in funds management, wealth management, banking, superannuation or financial services
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsAbility to work autonomously and hit the ground running
