About the Roles

As a Traffic Controller with BCivil Recruitment, you will play a key role in delivering safe, compliant and professional traffic management services in accordance with approved Traffic Guidance Schemes and company procedures.

You will support the implementation of Traffic Guidance Schemes, manage traffic and pedestrian flows, maintain clear communication and help protect workers, road users and members of the public.

The role requires professionalism, reliability, strong situational awareness and a genuine commitment to safety.

As part of a new regional team, you may also have opportunities to support less experienced team members, help maintain high standards in the field and contribute to the ongoing development of the Horsham operation.

Essential requirements:

- Current Victorian Traffic Control accreditation (TC1/TMI1 or higher)
- Construction White Card (CPCWHS1001 or equivalent)




- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
- Traffic management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of safe work practices and traffic management procedures
- Ability to understand and implement approved Traffic Guidance Schemes

All applicants should demonstrate:

- A strong focus on safety, compliance and following procedures
- A reliable, punctual and professional work ethic
- The ability to remain alert and focused in high-risk environments
- Valuable communication skills, including confidence using UHF radios
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to work across Horsham, the Wimmera and surrounding regions
- The ability to lead by example and contribute positively to team culture

We are particularly interested in applicants who have several years of industry experience, are comfortable working on more complex sites and want to contribute to building a strong local team from the ground up.

Highly regarded:

- Experience working on council, civil construction, road maintenance or infrastructure projects
- Experience working on arterial roads or in complex traffic environments
- Experience supporting or mentoring less experienced Traffic Controllers
- MR or higher driver's licence
- TMA operating experience
- Additional traffic management or safety qualifications
