We’re seeking a motivated and strategic Team Leader Business Analysis to join our Business Improvement Unit!
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of business analysts while partnering with leaders across the organisation to identify opportunities, streamline processes, and deliver meaningful improvements that enhance services for our community.
Reporting to the Coordinator Business Improvement, you'll lead a team of Business Analysts in driving continuous improvement across the Cairns Infrastructure & Assets Directorate. Working closely with managers and key stakeholders, you'll identify opportunities to streamline processes, optimise systems, enhance service delivery and deliver measurable business outcomes. This hands‑on leadership role combines team development, stakeholder engagement, business analysis and change management to create lasting improvements that support operational excellence and a strong customer‑focused culture.
What We’re Looking For:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Change Management, Business Analysis, Project Management or a related discipline,
or significant experience in a related field.
- Current Queensland Driver Licence.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams.
- Strong business analysis, process improvement and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Excellent written communication and report‑writing skills.
- Experience using Microsoft business tools, including the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Strong organisation, prioritisation and time management skills with a proven ability to deliver outcomes from concept to implementation.
- A customer‑focused approach and commitment to service excellence.
