The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Sales Consultant to join the team working in David Jones stores across the Brisbane Metropolitan area, Queensland. The role is casual and offers flexibility for location / days / hours.

Key responsibilities include:

- Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service standards in store
- Qualify and prepare tailored customer quotes
- Follow up customer enquiries
- Transact and manage customer orders
- Ensure the bedding department is always presented with pride, care and attention
- Accessory stock management




- Achieve budgeted sales working with Account Executive to execute promotional events

About You

We are looking for an energetic, passionate and motivated individual who has experience in sales (preferably in high-value sales).

The ideal candidate will understand the importance of getting to know your customer first and qualifying based upon the unique needs of the customer. To do so, strong communication skills are required.

As the role involves working across multiple stores and as part of the broader consultant team, the candidate must be able to work with others as well as independently. A mature "can do" attitude is a must.
