Our client is a national mid tier law firm who is looking for a general insurance lawyer to join their highly sought after team.

Responsibilities

- 2-5 years PAE

Our client is a national full service law firm with one of Australia's strongest insurance practices.

Insurance team

The firm has one of the largest insurance claims team in Australia whose expertise covers life insurance, professional indemnity, directors and officers, public liability, product liability, workers' compensation, dust diseases, ISR and property damage.

They have an impressive list of clients covering general insurers and reinsurers, brokers and agents, fund managers, trustees, financial planners, self-insureds, administrators, mutuals and qualified associations.

The role is a growth role that will see you working closely with two highly rated partners on personal injury claims. The work includes complex and interesting dust disease litigation which often lead to precedents being formed.



You will also handle a range of public liability and workplace claims from time to time.

The team has a healthy pipeline of work so you will be busy from the get go.

Requirements

- The ideal candidate will be a lawyer with between 2-5 years PQE.
- Ideally you will have experience with dust diseases or CTP. Our client will consider broader general insurance lawyers looking to get involved in complex pieces of litigation.
- You will also be: a personable lawyer who enjoys being part of a cohesive team environment; motivated to grow and develop your legal skills; and adaptable and flexible.
