We are recruiting for a Senior Tax Accountant to join a well-established advisory, accounting and wealth management firm in Bundaberg. This is a unique prospect to work on complex tax matters for SMEs, multinational corporations and high-net-worth family groups.

The Role:

- Conduct in-depth research on complex Australian and international tax matters, including corporate, trust, partnership and high-net-worth client structures

- Analyse complex transactions and provide practical recommendations on tax planning, restructuring and compliance matters

- Prepare taxation advice letters, memorandums for compliance teams and internal training materials

- Present tailored tax advice to clients and collaborate with advisory and compliance teams to deliver high-quality outcomes

- Support the growth and development of the tax team by sharing expertise and providing mentoring where appropriate

About You:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Law or similar

- CA, CPA, CTA qualified (or equivalent)

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in public practice, ideally with a focus on tax advisory and/or compliance





- Advanced knowledge of Australian tax law and the ability to translate complex matters into clear, client-friendly advice

- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused approach

- Proven ability to manage complex projects independently and collaboratively
