Job Description

SIT Automation Engineer – API & UI Testing (Experience: 5- 10 years)

Core Technical Requirements – Must

Playwright automation for UI / API testing

Integration Testing: Rest Assured or Supertest or Karate for API testing

Docker containerization familiarity

Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)

Git version control

CI/CD pipeline knowledge (Jenkins/GitHub Actions or similar)

Exposure to Kubernetes environments (OpenShift or GKE)

Domain Experience:

Banking domain experience – Preferable to have knowledge/experience in Open Banking

Knowledge of API security standards (OAuth2, JWT)

Deliverables

· Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API and UI

· Ensure robust integration testing coverage

· Containerize and manage test environments using Docker

· Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines

· Apply best practices for reliability and scalability in test automation

Nice-to-Have

· Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

· Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
