We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Female Disability Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to our clients with mental health disorders and psychosocial disabilities. About the Role: As a Disability Support Worker, you will support clients with daily living activities, emotional wellbeing, community participation, and individual goals in accordance with their care plans. You will work closely with clients who may present with complex mental health needs and behaviours of concern. Key Responsibilities: Deliver person-centred support tailored to individual client needs Support clients living with mental health conditions including schizophrenia, anorexia, and related disorders Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, meal preparation, and transport Promote social inclusion, independence, and community engagement Implement behaviour support strategies and follow care plans Maintain professional documentation, progress notes,
and incident reports Build positive relationships with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams Essential Criteria: Previous experience supporting individuals with mental health disorders is highly preferred Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Mental Health, or equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage challenging situations professionally and calmly Current First Aid & CPR Certificate NDIS Worker Screening Check Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable transport Availability for versatile shifts, including weekends and sleepovers if required If you are dedicated to supporting individuals with mental health challenges and want to make a genuine difference in people’s lives, we encourage you to apply.
