HHG Legal Group is continue into strengthen and expand its Commercial practice and are seeking an experienced Special Counsel to join our growing, award-winning firm. This is an opportunity for a senior commercial lawyer to work on high-quality matters, develop trusted client relationships and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of our team. The Opportunity Working closely with our Commercial Partner and Managing Director, you will provide strategic legal and commercial advice to a diverse client base including private businesses, family enterprises, agribusinesses, investors and high-net-worth individuals. This role offers significant autonomy, direct client engagement and the opportunity to take ownership of complex, high-value matters while contributing to the continued growth and success of our Commercial practice. Your work will include advising on: Complex commercial contracts, including supply, services, distribution, agency, consultancy, technology and SaaS arrangements Contract risk allocation, liability frameworks, indemnities, warranties and dispute avoidance strategies Corporate structuring, governance, compliance and business succession planning Shareholder agreements, constitutions, partnership arrangements and joint ventures Business sales, acquisitions and restructures, including due diligence, transaction management and negotiation of key transaction documents Competition and consumer law, regulatory compliance and risk management Executive employment, contractor and incentive arrangements from a commercial perspective General Counsel-style strategic advice to boards, business owners and senior executives Commercial dispute management and resolution strategies, working collaboratively with our litigation team where required You will also play an important role in mentoring junior lawyers, strengthening client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and contributing to the continued success of the practice. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:



Significant experience in commercial and corporate law, with a strong understanding of complex business matters Extensive experience advising a diverse client base across a broad range of commercial and corporate matters. A proven track record of advising on complex transactions and providing strategi commercially focused advice Strong commercial judgement and the ability to deliver practical solutions for clients Demonstrated experience leading complex commercial matters and managing key client relationships.
